Located in southwestern Africa, Namibia boasts a well-developed infrastructure, some of the best tourist facilities in Africa, and an impressive list of breathtaking natural wonders. Visitors can explore the capital of Windhoek and discover the lovely coastal town of Swakopmund boasting remnants of the country’s German influence, reflected in the architecture, culture, cuisine, and the annual Oktoberfest celebrations. To properly appreciate this extraordinary country, you will have to venture out of the cities to explore the remarkable natural landscapes Namibia has to offer. These include the impressive Fish River Canyon; the vast Etosha National Park teeming with abundant wildlife, such as lions, desert-adapted elephants, and the Mountain Zebra; the hauntingly beautiful Kalahari Desert; and of course the Namib Desert stretching for over 2000 km along the magnificent Atlantic Coast. Namibia is an ideal destination for travelers seeking an unforgettable African experience in a uniquely beautiful untamed wilderness.

The Olive Exclusive All-Suite Hotel, Windhoek
We start our adventure in Central Namibia in the beautiful cosmopolitan city of Windhoek. Home to an international airport and a plethora of restaurants, shops and accommodation options, the city is clean, safe and well-organised, with a colonial legacy that is reflected in its many German eateries and shops. Many of the Windhoek residents are German speaking too.
We head off on a scheduled road transfer from Hosea Kutako International Airport (Windhoek) to The Olive Exclusive.
Accommodation for the evening will be at The Olive Exclusive which has sleek, modern lines complemented by organic textures, natural furnishings and an eco-friendly philosophy. Organic elements combine to create simple elegance, offset by Namibian landscape photographs. The seven suites are individually decorated so that each reflects a different region of Namibia, and each has its own lounge area with a fireplace and private dining room. Wide glass doors open onto spacious decks where you can relax on your shady daybed, enjoy al fresco lunches or (in our premium suites) take a dip in your own private plunge pool. Air-conditioning, satellite TV and iPod docking stations come as standard, as do Wi-Fi access and a fully stocked minibar.
Included: Breakfast, Bed Levy and VAT.
Kulala Desert Lodge, Sossusvlei
After a good night's rest, we depart from The Olive Exclusive on a scheduled road transfer to Hosea Kutako International Airport. We will jump on a flight and head to Kulala Desert Lodge.
Upon arrival, you will be booked into beautiful, unique accommodation.
Overnight: Kulala Desert Lodge
Kulala Desert Lodge’s location at the foot of the majestic Sossusvlei dunes allows for stunning views in every
direction, while its private entrance to the Namib Naukluft National Park makes it the closest location to Sossusvlei. The camp is ideal for self-drives and groups.
Twenty-three thatched and canvas tents (including two family units), each built on raised wooden platforms make for airy, comfortable accommodation, with a rooftop area for sleep-outs under the stars. Afternoons around the pool provide relief from the heat, while the wraparound veranda at the main area overlooks a waterhole, and private tours of the dunes provide the ultimate Sossusvlei experience.
Included: All meals, twice daily scheduled camp activities, park fees, laundry, Namibian VAT & Tourism Levy and local drinks excludes premium imported brands and champagne.
Doro Nawas Camp, Twyfelfontein
We leave the beautiful Kulala Desert Lodge and head to Doro Nawas Camp in Twyfelfontein. Twyfelfontein is a spectacularly scenic area, featuring one of the largest and most important concentrations of rock art in Africa.
Overnight: Doro Nawas Camp
From a hillside above the dry Aba-Huab River, Doro Nawas provides guests with far-reaching views across rugged Damaraland. The camp is ideally located as base from which to learn more about both the area’s ancient inhabitants and the visionary ecotourism partnership with today’s communities. The petroglyphs and San rock art of Twyfelfontein are within easy reach. Sixteen guest units (including a family room) blend in with the scenery, and feature private verandas and outdoor showers. Sleeping out under the stars is also an option. Nature drives and walks reveal more of the desert’s surprising and superbly-adapted flora and fauna.
Without bright lights and far from pollution the camp is the ideal setting for marvelling at the night sky. Opt for a night in the Star Bed to experience superb stargazing…
Included: All meals, twice daily scheduled camp activities, park fees, laundry, Namibian VAT & Tourism Levy, and local drinks exclude premium imported brands and champagne.
Andersson's at Ongava Camp, Ongava Private Game Reserve
Bye-bye to Doro Nawas Camp and Hello to Andersson's!
Located on the boundary of the world renowned Etosha National Park, Andersson’s Camp is the perfect point from which to explore the diversity of fauna and flora in this region. Formerly an old farmstead, the camp is nestled in mopane scrub with the scenic backdrop of the low Ondundozonanandana mountain range and is an exciting example of sustainable construction. Each of the 20 tents is raised on decks for enhanced views of the passing wildlife, while the main area overlooks a productive waterhole.
