A World of Wonders
Known for its dramatic landscape and diverse wildlife, much of it within parks, reserves and safari areas; Zimbabwe is home to the Zambezi River where Victoria Falls makes a thundering 108m drop into a narrow gorge. White-water rafting and bungee-jumping is a top favourite amongst the adventurous.
A Safari Attraction
While Zimbabwe might not be the most well known African safari destination, Hwange National Park and the private reserves and national parks near Victoria Falls offer a wonderful wildlife safari experience.
The Landscape
Zimbabwe is a captivating land of teak woodlands, granite outcrops and diverse wildlife and is home to the legendary Victoria Falls. The landscape is divided into three geographical regions: the inland plateau, the Highveld and the Escarpment.
The Weather
With mild temperatures, virtually no rain and a low malaris risk, the dry May to October winters season is generally seen as the best time to visit Zimbabwe for game-viewing. September and October months can be extremely hot and dry at times.
