Some reservations will fall under special terms where Ndlovu Africa Safaris will require a completed booking form and a 50% deposit payment at the time of making your booking. Failure to do so will result in your reservation automatically being cancelled. The balance of the payment is due 70 days prior to your travel date. Bookings made within 70 days prior to departure are subject to full prepayment at the time of confirming the reservation.
The terms and conditions must be accepted in order for Ndlovu Africa Safaris to confirm a booking. Once Ndlovu Africa Safaris is in receipt of the completed Booking Form, plus the deposit, the tour will be confirmed to the client in writing within 72 hours.
Please note: Dependant on the tour selected, you might be quoted in a foreign currency. Should you wish to settle this payment by means of a credit card, your quotation will be converted to South Africa Rand prior to the transaction being processed. This is due to the foreign exchange rate regulations as set by the South African Reserve Bank. The foreign exchange rate charged is on the day that the transaction is processed and will then be used to determine the equivalent Rand amount. Any resulting foreign exchange differences or bank charges will be for the client’s account. The South African Reserve Bank prohibits South African companies from taking any credit card payment and keeping this payment in the foreign currency. All payments must be converted to South African Rand before it can be credited to the recipient.
Clients are welcome to settle their final payment by means of a bank transfer – in this instance the amount will be converted by your bankers on presentation of our invoice. It is the client’s responsibility to inform and instruct their bankers that the net invoice amount must equal the funds clearing into the Ndlovu Africa bank account and that ALL bank charges are for the client’s account.
The Cancellation Policies listed below apply to all reservations unless the tour booked has specific rates or fees.
Standard Cancellation Policy:
Special Cancellation Policy:
Travel insurance is compulsory, therefore in the event of canceling for insurable reasons, e.g medically related, etc, the amounts forfeited can be claimed from insurance.
Should you require to make changes to an existing booking, we will look at this per request. In effect if date changes are made then we would need to cancel and rebook and therefore the cancelation policies as per above will apply. We will always try our best to accommodate the client to the best of our abilities.
Comprehensive travel and medical insurance which covers cancellation, curtailment, medical, emergency travel and personal accident is compulsory when departing on our tours. Most of the establishments we make use of is in remote areas and should assistance be required, then insurance would be needed.
