About the Tour
Kruger National Park is a fantastic destination and one of the top national parks in Southern Africa. For this package we intend to show you more of Kruger and you might expect stay in different camps. In this park you can find 147 mammal species including the Big 5 (Lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant). You may also find the little 5 (ant lion, leopard tortoise, rhinoceros beetle, buffalo weaver and elephant shrew). Our safaris are conducted in open 4 x 4 vehicles with expert guides. Our Chalet packages range from 3 to 5 days.

Transfer from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
Today you will make your way to Kruger National Park, either by road or by air. Your guide will then meet you either at the entrance gate to Kruger or at Skukuza Airport. You will be transferred to your accommodation for the night and will have the time to get a quick bite for lunch and a short break. Your guide will then collect you again for your very first game drive in Kruger.
Our first activity in Kruger is a sunset game drive which will be with SANparks on a Kruger National Park
vehicle. This drive will allow you the opportunity to witness nocturnal animals which are more active at
night. Note that this drive is with Kruger park and is not a private drive. Other guests may join you on this drive. (Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on sunset drives).
You will return to camp as the gates closes and will have time to freshen up before dinner where we will discuss the next day's program.

Kruger Park
An early start will allow for the best sightings. After our coffee, we depart on our morning safari. We will be spending the morning out in the park and enjoy breakfast at a convenient stop. Our guides are highly knowledgeable about the park and the
animals. This will contribute towards brilliant sightings.
Back in camp, you can now catch up on some sleep, enjoy a swim,
visit the park shop (includes African curios, general food items and drinks) or walk around the camp.
Your guide will arrange a pick-up time for you to go out on an afternoon drive. Keep your eyes open for the predators that may be on an afternoon prowl.
You will return to camp at gate closing time and have some time to freshen up before we meet for
dinner.
All our game drives are in specially adapted 4x4 open game drive vehicles to allow our guests the best possible vantage point.
Dinner is served around the campfire where we share our safari stories of the day.
Optional Activity for this tour:
This activity should be pre-booked with your consultant before you go on safari and is subject to availability.
- Guided Bush Walk - ZAR 630.00 per person
- A walk in the Kruger Park affords you the opportunity to experience the bush from a totally different perspective. You really do get up close and personal with Africa's wild animals, insects, trees and birds. Qualified trail guides take you on a 3-hour walk where there is a chance you could come across Africa's Big 5 on foot. Please be advised however, the focus is not on Big 5 encounters, but rather smaller and often very interesting aspects of the bush that only a walk can offer.

Kruger Park to Johannesburg
After breakfast you will have a short drive back to the exit gate which is your last opportunity to see some of Kruger's wildlife. Here you will be met by your driver that will transport your back to Johannesburg. Kindly note that this is a 6 hour drive and we do not recommend flying out on the same day.
For those flying out of Skukuza, you will be transferred to the airport by your guide.
